Miltec is part of Sturm Handels GmbH and was founded in 1995, although the parent company has been in existence since 1971. At that time, Sturm's core business was the distribution and reuse of equipment and clothing from army surplus. Due to growing demand, the desire for its own collection became increasingly strong, leading Sturm Handels GmbH to finally launch the Miltec brand in 1995.
