The SteriPen Classic 3 water purifier uses ultraviolet light (UV-C rays) to eliminate bacteria, 99.9% of protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and viruses. It's incredibly easy to use and allows you to purify water from almost any source. The Classic 3 has been the most popular UV water purifier for over 15 years. The user-friendly LED display shows the treatment volume, the status of the UV lamp, and the battery charge. Only use the SteriPen Classic 3 in clear water, as cloudy, sediment-containing water will impair its effectiveness.
Application:
1. Remove the cap.
2. Press the activation button: 1 x for 1 liter, 2 x for 500 ml.
3. Hold the lamp in clear water until the water sensor pins are completely covered.
4. Stir the water until the green LED flashes. The water is now drinkable.
- Water source: Tap water, clear water
- Number of people: 1, 2-5
- Effective against: bacteria, protozoa, cysts, viruses
- Flow rate: 500 ml = 48 seconds / 1 L = 90 seconds
- Output (L/click): 2 clicks = 500 ml, 1 click = 1 L
- Usage per battery charge: approx. 20/80-100/150
- Lifespan: 8000 activations
- Batteries: 4 x AA
