The original German Army (Bundeswehr) trapezoidal tent tarp comes from surplus stocks and impresses with its durable construction from impregnated sailcloth . Equipped with numerous eyelets, connecting buttons , and reinforced seams , it can be used for a wide variety of outdoor purposes – whether as an emergency shelter, tarp, rain cover, or sunshade. Two tarps can be joined together with a button placket to create a functional two-person tent. Thanks to its compact size and a weight of approximately 1,200 g, it can be easily stowed in a backpack. The tarp is weatherproof, tear-resistant , and its camouflage pattern makes it particularly inconspicuous in the field.
