What does the volume specification on the products mean?

What it says on the label is what actually fits inside. That’s because we determine the capacity of our backpacks, bags, etc. in a practical, real-world way: using loosely filled granulate sacks of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 liters that also settle into corners and gaps. This gives us very precise data on the actual packing volume, including outer pockets and lid compartments.

The name Tatonka comes from the language of the Sioux Indians. Translated into German, it means bison. The bison is both the brand’s totem animal and part of its logo.
