Streamlight's Sidewinder is one of the most versatile military lights in the world. Twenty flashlights in one! Each LED features 4 levels of output intensities: Low (5%), Medium (20%), Medium-High (50%), High (100%) plus a Strobe function (100%).

Nachtrag zum 23.08.2010: Umlöten funktioniert übrigens problemlos... rot/grün/weiß/IR

Die hier beschriebene Taschenlampe ist das Militärmodell – Weiß/Rot/IR-IFF/Blau und nicht das Sportlermodell – Weiß/Rot/Grün/Blau! Sehr empfehlenswert.

vielseitige taschenlmpe mit sehr vielen funktionen, leider ein wenig teuer aber meiner Meinung nach die für den Millitärischen Bereich beste Taschenlampe auf dem Markt.

Nicht ganz billig aber jeden Cent wert! Gute Verarbeitung, schmutz-, wasser- und stoßunanfällig, funktioniert einfach zuverlässig. Auch sehr praktisch: Verwendung von Standard-Batterien, also nicht wieder für 99,99€ irgendwelche Spezialformate notwendig. IR-Kegel bei der Verwendung zum Ausleuchten mit LUCIE nur für den Nahbereich geeignet (aber dort wirklich gut), bei Entfernungen über 15 bis 20 m zu schwach. Markieren auch auf große Entfernungen möglich. Bei Helmmontage nervt auf längere Zeit das Klappern des Sicherungsdrahtes für den Batteriefachdeckel, aber damit kann man leben (ein Tropfen Heißkleber schafft Abhilfe ;-) ) Schön wäre "grün" statt "blau" (überlege, ob ich mir das umlöten lasse, traue mich aber nicht ganz ;-) ) Alles in Allem: da hat sich jemand echt Gedanken gemacht und diese dann auch noch vernünftig umgesetzt!
